About the Role:
We are a growing Durable Medical Equipment (DME) company building an in-house billing and collections team. We are seeking a DME Payment Posting Specialist to ensure accurate and timely posting of payments, adjustments, and offsets for Medicare, Medicare Advantage, and commercial insurance claims.
Our primary product focus includes Continuous Glucose Monitoring (CGM) and other recurring DME supplies. Experience with CGM billing or recurring DME is strongly preferred, but experienced DME payment posters are encouraged to apply.
This role is critical to maintaining clean AR, accurate cash reporting, and effective collections follow-up.
This is not an entry-level posting role and not hospital billing.
Key Responsibilities:
Payment Posting & Reconciliation:
- Post payments accurately using ERAs and EOBs.
- Apply payments, contractual adjustments, write-offs, and offsets correctly.
- Identify and flag:
- Underpayments.
- Overpayments.
- Offsets applied to prior balances.
- Reconcile posted payments with bank deposits and system totals.
DME & CGM Accuracy:
- Ensure accurate posting for:
- Recurring DME and CGM resupply claims.
- Medicare Part B payments.
- Medicare Advantage and commercial payer payments.
- Recognize payer-specific payment patterns and discrepancies.
AR & Team Support:
- Ensure posted data supports clean AR and collections workflows.
- Communicate posting discrepancies to AR and billing teams.
- Assist with resolving posting-related claim issues.
Reporting & Quality Control:
- Maintain accurate payment logs and documentation.
- Support audits, payer reviews, and internal QA.
- Follow established posting SOPs and accuracy standards.
Required Experience & Skills:
- Applicants without Durable Medical Equipment (DME) payment posting experience will not be considered.
- 2+ years of DME payment posting experience.
- Experience posting Medicare and/or commercial insurance payments.
- Familiarity with ERAs, EOBs, and contractual adjustments.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work efficiently in a high-volume environment.
Strongly Preferred:
- Experience with Continuous Glucose Monitoring (CGM) billing or posting.
- Experience with Medicare Advantage plans.
- Experience with recurring DME or diabetic supplies.
- Experience with DME billing systems (e.g., Niko Health or similar).

- Not hospital billing.
- Not entry-level billing.
