Job Overview:
We are looking for a Medical Billing & AR Specialist with hands-on experience in U.S. medical insurance billing.
Candidates should have experience working with insurance claims, including billing, claim follow-up, collections, appeals, or payment posting.
Experience with DME, CGM supplies, Medicare, Medicare Advantage, or commercial insurance plans is preferred.
Full-cycle Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) experience is a plus, but not required.
We are looking for individuals who can work independently, understand payer rules, and require minimal training.
Responsibilities:
- Submit insurance claims to Medicare, Medicare Advantage, and commercial payers.
- Perform claim follow-up and resolve denied or rejected claims.
- Work AR / collections and reduce aging balances.
- Prepare and submit appeals and reconsiderations.
- Post insurance payments, adjustments, and write-offs.
- Review EOB / ERA and ensure correct payment posting.
- Handle prior authorizations when required.
- Review claims for accuracy before submission.
- Communicate with insurance companies by phone, portal, or fax.
- Maintain accurate claim notes and account documentation.
- Work assigned AR / billing / posting queues daily.
Required Experience:
- Minimum 2–3 years of medical billing experience.
- Experience with claim submission, claim follow-up, and denial resolution.
- Experience with Medicare, Medicare Advantage, or commercial payers.
- Ability to review EOB / ERA and determine next steps.
- Experience preparing and submitting appeals and reconsiderations.
- Comfortable contacting insurance companies to resolve claim issues.

- Clearinghouses (Change Healthcare, Availity, Office Ally, etc.).
